🧵 Material & Construction

  • Fabric: Columbia MTR (Mountain Trek) fleece — 100% polyester
  • Weight: Midweight fleece (approx. 0.22 lb per garment)
  • Warmth level: Moderate — best for cool to cold conditions (approx. 5°C to 15°C / 41°F to 59°F)
  • Wind resistance: Wind-resistant outer face — reduces wind chill in light to moderate conditions; not fully windproof in sustained high winds
  • Weather limitations: Not waterproof or water-repellent. Layer under a shell in wet conditions.
  • Moisture management: Moisture-wicking inner — pulls perspiration away from the body during activity

🧺 Care Instructions

  • Washing: Machine wash cold (30°C / 86°F max) on a gentle cycle
  • Detergent: Use mild liquid detergent — avoid fabric softeners, which reduce moisture-wicking performance
  • Drying: Tumble dry low or lay flat to dry — avoid high heat, which can damage fleece fibres
  • Do not iron directly on fleece surface
  • Do not dry clean

🔵 Pilling Care

  • Some surface pilling is normal with fleece over time, especially in high-friction areas (underarms, cuffs)
  • Wash inside-out on a gentle cycle to reduce abrasion
  • Avoid washing with hook-and-loop (Velcro) items, which accelerate pilling
  • A fabric shaver can safely restore the surface appearance if pilling occurs
